New Delhi: The Air Quality Index has been in the critical category in many major cities of the country since Diwali. In the national capital, Delhi, after three days, the AQI has already improved, though delhi's air is still not clear. The first of the most polluted cities in the country is Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh, with AQI registering 477. All five of the top-5 cities in the country's most polluted cities are from Uttar Pradesh.
On the other hand, the top 10 polluted cities include eight cities in Uttar Pradesh. Vrindavan in Uttar Pradesh ranks first among the most polluted cities in the country. Vrindavan's AQI was recorded at 477 today. Agra (469), Ghaziabad (432) were third, Kanpur (430) was fourth and Hapur (422) was fifth. This is followed by Baghpat (415), Jind (415), Ballabhgarh (414), Noida (407) and Bulandshahr (406) respectively. The list includes eight cities in Uttar Pradesh, while the other two cities are from Haryana.
Monday brought minor relief to the national capital Delhi. The AQI in Delhi was 385 in the morning. As a result, Delhi remained the 16th most polluted city. The level of pollution has suddenly increased after Diwali. State that AQI between 0-50 is considered to be the best. On the other hand, satisfactory from 51-100, medium from 101-200, bad by 201-300, very bad from 301-400 and serious/dangerous category up to 401-500 are kept.
