Karnataka: Sword hangs over Kumaraswamy government, 8 MLAs of Congress-JDS arrive to resign

Bengaluru: The Congress-JDS-aligned government in Karnataka may be in danger. Eight MLAs of the coalition have reached to resign. All the eight MLAs are said to have arrived in the speaker's room at the Legislature Building. All the eight MLA speakers are said to be submitting their resignations to Ramalinga Reddy.

Of these, 6 are from Congress and 2 from JDS. The speaker is said to be not present in his room at the moment. All the MLAs are waiting for their resignation papers. The name of the MLAs waiting is as follows.

In Karnataka, two Congress MLAs, including rebel MLA Ramesh Zarkiholi, resigned from the state assembly in a major setback to the Kumaraswamy-led coalition government in Karnataka on July 1. In a hand-written letter to Assembly Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar in Kannada, Zarkiholi complained that his party had "disappointed" his seniority by ousting him from the Cabinet last year.
