For now, let's talk about 82-year-old Bilkis Bano, who was a known face of the Shaheen Bagh protests during the anti-CAA Protest. During that time too, she was in fierce discussions. During that time many people had praised her and said that even at this age, her hard work and courage is commendable. Bilkis Bano used to go to Shaheen Bagh with thousands of women every day and used to be a part of the demonstration and that is why she was in discussions.

When the Supreme Court-appointed interlocutor went to speak in Shaheen Bagh, Bilkis Bano said that "Home Minister says 'We will not move an inch', I say 'We will not move even a centimetre". Home Minister Amit Shah had said that "We (government) will not back down on the CAA". Not only this, Amit Shah had said in meetings many times that "We will implement this to help the refugees and we will not retreat even an inch."
