In UP, 84 more people infected with coronavirus died and 4,519 new patients were confirmed between the last 24 hours. According to a report released by the Health Ministry in the evening, the figure of people dying of coronavirus in the state increased to 5450 with 84 more deaths between the last 24 hours.

9 people died due to coronavirus in Lucknow. In addition, two patients have died in Kanpur Nagar and Barabanpur, 8 in Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, four-four, Moradabad, Shahjahanpur, Jaunpur and Pilibhit each, three in Ghaziabad, Meerut, Jhansi, Pratapgarh, Sitapur, Rae Bareli, Kannauj and Shamli each. In addition, one person infected with coronavirus has died in Gautam Budh Nagar, Bareilly, Aligarh, Saharanpur, Ballia, Agra, Lakhimpur Khiri, Mehrajganj, Hardoi, Mathura, Etawah, Sultanpur, Bijnor, Amroha, Hapur, Auraiya, Kanpur Dehat, Balrampur and Chitrakoot each.

According to the report, coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 4,519 new patients in the state between the last 24 hours. Most of the 580 new patients have been found in Lucknow. In addition, 291 new patients have been confirmed in Prayagraj, 242 in Gautam Budh Nagar, 239 in Ghaziabad, 228 in Varanasi, 219 in Kanpur Nagar and 207 in Meerut.

Additional Chief Secretary, Ministry of Medical and Health Amit Mohan Prasad said that 1, 64742 samples have been tested in the state between the last 24 hours. So far 93, 10258 samples have been tested in the state. The total number of coronavirus patients found so far in the state is 3, 78533. Out of these, 3, 13686 have been fully cured.
