According to the police, cloth merchant Om Prakash Agarwal and his wife Santosh Agarwal are staying at Shreeveen House in Chintalbasti, Hill Colony. The watchman, who had been monitoring their movements since then, tied the sleeping elderly couple Prakash and Santosh Agarwal, attacked them with iron rods after midnight on Friday, and fled with Rs 85 lakh and jewellery. After that Santosh Aggarwal woke up the Yagya sleeping on the fifth floor and informed her about it. Thereafter he lodged a complaint with the police. Saifabad DIG Rajunayak examined the CCTV footage and found four outsiders involved in the theft.
