These 85,000 families will not hoist the national flag in their homes!

Lucknow: Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is being celebrated across the country. The tricolour is being delivered to every household to celebrate the 75th anniversary of independence by every citizen of the country. Its purpose is to make the 75th anniversary of the country's independence unforgettable. The joy of Amrit Mahotsav being celebrated on this occasion reached every gate. But, even in this Amrit Mahotsav of independence, there are 85 thousand families who will not be able to hoist the national flag in their homes.

Actually, these are the families who have been waiting for their PMAYs for almost three years. After completing all the formalities including the housing survey, geo-tagging, and giving bank accounts, these families who disappeared from the housing site hoped that they would get the gift of a house on this Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. They will also join the flag campaign like every house by hoisting the country's flag at their homes.

Bhannu Tiwari of Tondarpur block says with wide eyes and a teary throat that it has been three years since then the Prime Minister's Awas Yojana is still awaited. Officers had come, had gone after doing a survey. Seeing the thatched roof and walls, assurance was given to get the accommodation soon. But, it is that day and today is the day, no one even came to ask for the second time. After the survey, he went to the block several times to get information about PMAY, but there they were told that the name has gone up on the site. But after a few days, the names have been removed from the said site. Tiwari told that there are hundreds of people like them, whose hopes of their own residence are now broken.
