These days the crime against young girl are increasing day by day. In a yet another shameful and horrific incident, A class 8th student was raped. The family came to know about the whole incident when they observed changes in the girl. A man has been arrested in Karnataka's Koppal district in connection with the sexual assault of a class 8 student.
According to the Police Official it was is also suspected that the victim have been gang raped. According to the police, the incident came to light after the girl's parents observed changes in her body. Further medical tests revealed that she is currently six months pregnant. Police is investigating the whole matter now. The police said that the girl had not shared any detail about the incident fearing backlash from family members and social stigma.
Sources have said that the victim is yet to share details of the incident as she is under mental trauma. The police are working on the clues given by the victim to her parents.This is not the first case, Earlier in a similar incident Two boys allegedly raped their 13-year-old classmate inside the classroom of their civic-run school in Matunga area of Mumbai.
The victim and the accused are students of Class 8. The official said, "The incident left the girl shaken and she shared her ordeal with her family members, who immediately lodged a complaint against the accused," Based on the complaint, the police registered a case against the boys under Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 376 DA.
