Meerut: Due to the oxygen crisis in Meerut nine people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours at KMC Hospital which is facing an oxygen shortage. The district administration claims that there were enough oxygen cylinders. Hospitals treating corona due to oxygen shortage have themselves come on ventilators. There is a continuous shortage of oxygen in the hospitals.

30 people have died in the last 24 hours in different hospitals of the State. Of these, 22 deaths have been caused by corona infection, while eight deaths are of corona suspects. Nine people have died in the last 24 hours at KMC Hospital which is facing an oxygen crisis.  13 deaths have taken place in medical colleges and nine deaths in KMC. In addition, eight people have also lost their lives in hospitals like Anand, Nutima, Aryavarta, and Apsnowa, etc. On the other hand, most of the patients living in the houses are suffering due to a lack of oxygen.

Meanwhile, several private hospitals on Monday raised their hands till they admitted new patients due to oxygen shortage. Their management says they are not getting oxygen as per demand. They are not able to give oxygen to the already admitted patients.
