On April 7, the funeral procession of 9 people who lost their lives in coronavirus in the Beed district of Maharashtra has been performed on the same funeral pyre. In this regard, an official said on Wednesday that due to lack of space in a temporary crematorium, such work was done. Whereupon he said that as the local residents started performing the last rites of the people concerned in the crematoriums of Ambajogai Nagar, the local authorities had to find another place for the funeral where space was less. At the same time, Ambajogai Municipal Council chief Ashok Sabale told the media, "The funeral procession of the dead concerned was performed by the local people in the crematoriums that we currently have, so we got another one on Mandwa Road, two kilometers from the city. Had to find a place''.

Whereupon the officer further told about this, "Therefore, on Tuesday we made a big funeral pyre and cremated 9 dead bodies on it. This was a big pyre and the dead bodies were kept at a certain distance from each other''.

He said that as the infection of covid is increasing rapidly and due to which the death toll is expected to increase, the temporary crematoriums are being planned to be extended and made waterproof before the monsoon starts. It is also being said that 716 new cases of infection were reported in Beed district on Tuesday, where the number of cases of the epidemic has come to 28,491 so far. So far 672 people have lost their lives in the district from Corona.
