New Delhi: A 9-year-old girl was kidnapped for ransom in Khichadipur in the Kalyanpuri area in East Delhi and killed. After four days, the body of the child has been found on Friday in the forest of Patti village under Bhojpur in Ghaziabad in UP. After getting the location of a suspect, in this case, Delhi Police was camping in Modinagar for 2 days. Police have detained the girl's neighbor Johnny and his companions Naresh, Tarun, and Kailash in this case. The police has also arrested 2 other people of Tibra village in this case.

As soon as it is learned that tensions have started increasing in the area as soon as the information about the body of the girl is found. The family and nearby people have started the protest cause outside Kalyanpuri police station and on NH-24. Meanwhile, fierce slogans were also raised against the police. Where other people say that if the police had taken action on time, the girl's life would have been saved. People threw stones at the station in-charges car that arrived in the area on Friday evening. Meanwhile, people created a ruckus. In view of the tension, additional security forces have been deployed in the area.

According to the information, on 23 February, Johnny lured the girl into his eco-car and was kidnapped along with Naresh. During interrogation, the accused claimed that they planned to seek ransom from the girl's family. Fearing being caught, they took the girl to the forest of Tibra-Patti village and attacked her with an iron rod, and killed her. The Delhi Police investigated the CCTV footage and identified the accused. The girl lived in a slum in Khichadipur with parents, three sisters, and a brother. She was a 5th-grade student of a government school. It is also being said that the girl has also been physically abused.
