Gurugram: A 94-year-old woman jumping from the 15th floor in Gurugram has committed suicide. She was in depression. Two years ago, after her husband's death, she was very disappointed and went into depression. The 94-year-old woman committed suicide. The elderly woman jumped from the 15th floor of Central Park-2 of Sector-48 Society in Gurugram and ended her life. On receipt of the information, the police rushed to the spot and took possession of the body and reached the post-mortem.

According to the police, the case is under action under section 174 of the CRPC. Sadar Police Station Incharge Inspector Dinesh Yadav said Urmila Advani (94) was a retired teacher. Her husband Arjun Advani had been in the countryside two years ago. It hurt him a lot. She was taking medication for other ailments including BP. On Monday morning, her son Anil was on a walk. While the daughter-in-law and grandson were in their room. Meanwhile, Urmila walked from her room to the balcony and jumped down. The people nearby made a lot of noise. When everyone came down, the woman was lying in a blood-soaked state. The police and their son were informed of it.

The police station incharge said that preliminary investigations revealed that the woman had jumped herself. At present, action is being taken in the matter under Section 174 of the CRPC. Further action will be taken based on the facts revealed in the investigation. The post mortem of the body has been handed over to the family on Monday afternoon.
