Mumbai Police has busted a gang that smuggled children internationally. This racket has reportedly sent 300 children to the United States. This racket was started by Rajubhai Gamlevala alias Rajubhai in 2007. He used to sell one child to US-based customers for Rs 45 lakh. The purpose for which these children were sold was not known yet. Some members of this racket were arrested in March.

The children who were sent to America were between the ages of 11-16 years. This is from all the poor families, especially of Gujarat.
