Bollywood perfectionist superstar Aamir Khan, who will desperately next be seen in the Advait Chandan directorial, 'Secret Superstar', has said that this movie is about the youth of today, especially the enthusiastic girls.
The 'Dangal' fame star was in the New Delhi for the promotion of his forthcoming movie, told “This film is actually for the young girls. This is their story. I hope people will connect with the story. I wish the movie inspires everyone in a positive way so that they can also fulfill their dreams."
Directed by Advait Chndan, 'Secret Superstar' is a story about Insu (Zaira Wasim) who seeks to be a singer.
Wasim, who was far and wide appreciated for her portrayal of Geeta Phogat in the movie 'Dangal', plays the ostensible role in the movie. She also hopes the youth of the country, irrespective of their gender, get enthused by the movie.
"I hope not just girls, but boys too, who are in their teenage, get enthused by the movie and go ahead and do the best to fulfill their dreams. I hope they gather the guts to follow their dreams and I hope the film also tells parents to give their children the chance they deserve," Wasim told.
The film is scheduled to release on Diwali this year - October 19, 2017.
