Yeh Meri Life Hai fame actress Shama Sikander fondly remembered as Pooja has been away from the television world since from a long time. During an interview, Shama told that small screen is still stuck in the past and have nothing new to serve. 

The actor was last seen as a Bhayankar Pari in the fictional serial "Baal Veer" in 2014. But in 2016, Shama Sikandar chose to make her comeback in the digital medium with "Sexaholic". When a leading daily asked her whether she is consciously staying away from TV, she said that Yes she is staying away from television industry at this moment. She also said that she has not found anything interesting on TV yet which will make her work again. 

Since from her comeback in 2016, Shama has been worked for a web-series and movie like "Maaya". Talking about her upcoming projects, she will be seen in "Ab Dil Ki Sun" which will be a series of seven short films. Each short film will be five to fourteen minutes long. The tories will revolve around the problems that are driving the new generation towards mental disorders like depression or bipolar disorder, reports Pinkvilla.

Talking about working in the web series, she said that in comparison with the big screen, the web provides you with a lot more freedom.
