Chitarangda is a Bollywood actress who turned a producer with the recent release Soorma. Soorma is a biopic of legendary hockey player Sandeep Singh. The character of Sandeep Singh is beautifully portrayed by Diljit Dosanjh.

Chitrangada took a huge risk by making a film like Soorma, her debut venture as a producer, but fortunately, things seem to have worked out in her favor.

And while people are still raving about the sports-drama, the actress is all set to add another feather to her cap.

Chitrangda recently interacted with media and she revealed about her interest in Writing. She said “Writing has always been a passion of mine. I am writing something at the moment; there are two stories that I have developed. We are now working on a screenplay for one of them — a light-hearted, breezy, romance, It’s a project that’s very close to my heart, and I will be acting in it as well. I don’t like to talk about it  until I’m sure of things.”

Chitrangada is best known for her performances in Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, and Yeh Saali Zindagi will also be seen in the upcoming films such as Baazaar and Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3.
