New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has given birth to a child and created a new history. Prior to the delivery, she handed over the full responsibility of the post of PM to the deputy PM. Jacinda Ardern is the second female prime minister of the world who has been a mother while in the post of a Prime Minister.

For the first time, this was done by Benazir Bhutto, the Prime Minister of Pakistan. 37 years old Jessinda became the Prime Minister in October last year.  However, Benazir Bhutto gave birth to daughter Asifa on 25 January in the year 1990 when she was a Prime Minister in pakistan. This was the second child of Benazir Bhutto and Asif Ali Zardari.

Earlier, in the opposition, Benazir gave birth to the son Bilawal on September 21, 1988. Three months later, the Pakistan People's Party won the election and Bhutto became the Prime Minister. On December 27, 2007, Bhutto was assassinated.

Jacinda Ardern  announced this good news in January 2018. Then she said that this is a shocking news, but she and her husband Clark Geofford are very happy. Jacinda also said that she would take six months  leave after the baby's birth. At that time, the Deputy PM will take charge and they will be available on the phone. Jessica is ready to manage motherhood and work together. After the child's birth, she will definitely return to work.
