Ahmedabad: Lord Jagannath's Rath Yatra starts, Rupani-Shah offers prayers

Lord Jagannath's 141th Rath Yatra has started in Ahmedabad. The temple executives and police have made all kinds of arrangements for Lord Jagannath's Rath Yatra. The security forces have been deployed in large number. In this Rath Yatra, BJP President Amit Shah has also joined.
 
Earlier, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel started the rath yatra by dragging the chariot. During this period, the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister put a broom in front of the chariot as done in the tradition.
This chariot journey in Ahmedabad came out at around 7 in the morning. Thousands of people have come to Ahmedabad from the corners of the country to join the Rath Yatra.
 
Lord Jagannath, Bhai Balabhadra and sister Subhadra will go to the Nagarayatra. In this Ratha Yatra, about 2500 saints will participate in Lord Rath Yatra. Not only this, for the protection of this rath yatra, insurance of Rs 1.5 crore has also been taken. If there is any big loss during the Rath Yatra, then this insurance will be a safety for them.
 
During the Rath Yatra, people coming to visit Lord Jagannath will be given 30 thousand kg of mustard moong, 500 kg of jamun, 300 kg of mango and 400 kg cucumber. At the beginning of the Ratha Yatra, 18 chariots, 101 trucks, 30 akhada which will show different glimpses of the god. The bhajan mandli and three bands will be present. Rathayatra will be concluded with a return to the chariot temple at around 7 pm in the evening.
