With the permission of the Airtel customers to open an account in the Airtel Payment Bank, due to the hot dispute, the company's MD (Managing Director) and CEO Shashi Arora has resigned. However, this has not yet been confirmed by the company. Let us know that in this case UIDAI had recently canceled Airtel's EKYC license and restored conditionally after a few days. 

On the issue of Bharti Airtel, its EKYC license was canceled after allegations of using the Aadhaar-eKYC based SIM verification process for opening its payment bank account without the consent of its subscribers. Airtel Payment Bank has transferred the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) of 138 crores into 55.63 lakh original accounts of its customers.

UIDAI has issued its second interim order in this regard. UIDAI has taken this step in view of the convenience of the customers, as the Supreme Court is also approaching the deadline of March 31 of the mobile SIM verification.   

UIDAI has recently given permission to Bharti Airtel to verify the e-KYC verification of its telecom customers with certain conditions, the issuing entity, which has obtained the approval base for conditional e-kyc. However, the Authority has upheld the order of suspension of e-KYC suspension regarding Airtel Payment Bank.
