Vijaydashmi or the tenth day of this massive fest Dussehra of the Indian culture is going to end today. And there is something that makes it huger this time. The Ram Lila at Aishbagh, Lucknow is famous for its century’s old tradition. This Ramleela has always stood against demons that harm society. Every year, the Ravana depicts a social evil afflicting the country and is slain here.
"Terrorism at present is the universal evil. So, we decided to let this year's Ravana represent terrorism and hope for its annihilation soon," said Harish Agarwal, president, Aishbagh Ramleela Samiti.

The motive and purpose for this Ramleela is to eliminate social injustice. In the year of 2013 it was Corruption, 2014 the evil was crime against women and in the last year the evil was cow slaughter, all these evils were written on the body of Ravana and were fired and exploded along with him to show the victory of truthfulness over evil.

This year the evil will be marked as the terrorists’ attacks that are going in the world and especially in the outskirts of the Indian border.

People will pray as Ram’s arrow will penetrate the body of the massive ten head Raavan for their dreams and wishes to be fulfilled and terrorism to go away from this sin free land of Ram.
