2 States filmmaker Abhishek Varman is all set for his next film titled Shiddat with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. The film will also star Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt.
Earlier, a source revealed, "Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt have been approached for the movie. But they both are yet to give a nod."
Recently, designer Manish Malhotra confirmed the cast of the film by saying, "I am working on a period film starring Varun and Alia, Sanjay Dutt, Sridevi, Aditya Roy Kapur, so that's a big cast."
Manish also said, "I am very excited to be starting this new period film for my favourite Alia, it is a period film of a period I feel close to, It is during partition between 1945 to 1947."
