Agartala: It seems that the Bharatiya Janata Party has started breaking the leaders of various political parties across the country before the alliance with the JDU in Bihar, the resignations of MLC leaders in Uttar Pradesh and efforts for strong campaigning for the BJP in the Rajya Sabha elections in Gujarat. Recently, it is learned that in Tripura six legislators from Trinamool Congress joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.

These MLAs include Sudeep Roy Burman, Ashish K.R. Saha, Dibachandra Harangwal, Biswandhu Sen, Pranjit Singh Roy and Dilip Sarkar.

On Saturday, these MLAs met the BJP's National President Amit Shah in New Delhi. It has come to light that by ignoring the party whip, these MLAs voted for Ramnath Kovind. Ramnath Kovind was the NDA's candidate.

On the other hand, it has come to the notice that till around 1,000 supporters of these MLAs have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.

At the time when these MLAs were getting BJP membership and they were taking oath as a BJP member, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was also present in the program. With the joining of 6 TMC legislators in the BJP, TMC legislators now have null members.
