Chandigarh: A day after three people were lost their life and 20 others injured in a grenade attack on a Nirankari worshippers in Rajasansi area in Punjab's Amritsar district, state Chief Minister Amarinder Singh on Monday announced a reward of Rs 50 lakh for anybody giving tip off on those who  involved in the attack.

Worth mention here those who have any input on the suspects can dial 181 - the Punjab Police helpline. And Officials have assured that the identity of the informer will be hiding. It may be noted that The deceased included a preacher and the Punjab Police are treating the incident as a “terrorist act”.

According to exclusive details accessed by Times Now, HE-36 series grenade was used by the attackers on Sunday. It is notable that HE-36 grenade is a part of the armory usually used by the Pakistani Army. It is a hand grenade that forms smoke and a bang on an explosion, causing horror and terror. 

Reports suggested that Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh will visit Amritsar later in the day.

"The possibility of involvement of ISI-based Khalistani/Kashmiri terror groups cannot be ruled out. Police teams are investigating various angles," Punjab Chief Minister had stated in a statement yesterday.

A high-level security meeting chaired by Home Minister Rajnath Singh held  in the national capital Delhi today and Senior officials from IB, RAW and MHA attended.
