The Supremely gorgeous Angelina Jolie visited the Iraqi city Mosul on the holy occasion of the Eid ul-Fitr. Eid up Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. According to reports, the actress addressed her audience as, "It is deeply upsetting that people who have endured unparalleled brutality have so little as they try, somehow, to rebuild the lives they once had." In a video, Jolie was seen expressing her sorrow over the destruction caused. She asserted, "This is the worst devastation I've seen in all my years with UNHCR. These people have lost everything, and the trauma and the loss that they've suffered is unparalleled. They're here on their own with very little support - next to nothing. And they're rebuilding themselves with their bare hands. They're moving the rubble with their bare hands."

The Oscar-winning actress has been known for her active participation in deeds of social welfare.

she addressed the gathering of an organisation in the War-Torn area of Mosul.

She visited Mosul a year after it was liberated from the ISIS. Talking about the circumstances that the people of Mosul are facing, she said that it was the worst kind of "devastation" she had ever seen.
