Nothing has changed since the day the Aam Aadmi Party government was formed in Delhi. Even before, there was the protest against the opposition, and even today, the same trend continues. The same case has been re-emerged again in May, three years ago in which the Kejriwal government started protesting and stopping it. This time, it is Anindo Majumdar, Senior IAS Officer who has been transferred to Delhi with immediate effect. He was currently posted in Andaman Nicobar.

Although no information has been provided to him yet, it is believed that he can be made Chief Secretary instead of Anshu Prakash. But here also, In May 2015, the protest against Kejriwal government was at the peak with Majumdar. At that time the tension between the government and Majumdar had increased so much that the Kejriwal government had locked the office of Majumdar, the principal secretary at that time.

In fact, the reason for the problem of Majumdar was due to the appointment of Rajendra Kumar in his place. Rajendra Kumar was appointed by the Delhi Government as Principal Secretary (Service) instead of Anindo Majumdar. The appointment of CM Kejriwal was canceled by the then. The letter sent by the lieutenant governor's office to the chief said that the appointment of Rajendra Kumar is unconstitutional and he is being removed from the post. The Kejriwal government had appointed Rajendra Kumar as Principal Secretary (Service) in spite of objection and had put a lock in Majumdar's office located on the seventh floor of Delhi Secretariat.

Majumdar had issued the order to appoint Power Secretary Shakuntala Gamlin after the directive of the sub-governor. Because of this, the Kejriwal government was upset in May 2015 and issued the order to remove Majumdar from the post. After this, the Delhi Government's order was canceled and kept Majumdar in his post. After the Delhi government locked the Majumdar's room, he also worked for some time while sitting in another room. Due to this controversy, Anindo Majumdar went on leave. At that time Majumdar was not the only officer who went on leave, but around 45 officers had applied for this.
