Apple executive Vivek Tiwari death case: Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM hands over job appointment letter to wife Kalpana Tiwari

Lucknow: Vivek Tiwari's wife Kalpana Tiwari has been made a special officer (OSD) in the municipal corporation, Lucknow as Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma gave appointment letter to her on the 13th day of her husband's death. Receiving the letter, she said, "I think an investigation is going in the right direction, so I am satisfied with the investigation till now."She was quoted by the leading news agency ANI.

Last evening, Kalpana Tiwari’s appointment letter was sent to the municipal corporation on behalf of the city development office. City Commissioner Dr. Indramani Tripathi told that he had now come to Kalpana Tiwari to give an appointment letter. State's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced to give Kalpana Tiwari a job in the municipal corporation. The municipal corporation, Lucknow, had sent the proposal to the vacancies for the post of clerk or public relations officer. The government created the OSD post for her. Investigation in the case of Vivek Tiwari murder case of Lucknow is continuing. Mayor Sanukat Bhatia also was present there.

Besides this Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on October 2 had handed over a compensation cheque of Rs 40 Lakh to the family of Tiwari.

Worth mention here on September 29, a sales manager of Apple was allegedly gunned down by a police personnel in Lucknow on suspicion of being an offender. Tiwari allegedly tried to drive his car over a police motorcycle when the police tried to stop him.

Striking back to this, one of the policemen, Prashant Chaudhary, opened fire and the bullet went through the car windshield and hit the Apple employee. Though the injured was immediately rushed to Dr Ram Manohar Lohia hospital in Gomti Nagar area but he succumbed to his injuries. A case of murder has been filed against the policeman by the relatives of the deceased at the Gomti Nagar police station, while two constables, Prashant Chowdhury, and Sandeep Kumar, were arrested after an FIR was registered on basis of a complaint by Tiwari's colleague Sana Khan, who was also travelling with him.
