Educational Qualification: Job seekers must have Post Graduation in the concerned subject with minimum of 55 % marks along with good academic records from recognized University or Institution. Also the applying candidates for the Vidyasagar University Distance Education Recruitment must have qualified NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or any similar and equivalent test.

Salary Structure: Appointed appliers will get-

1. Professor - Pay Band: Rs 37,400- 67,000/- +Academic Grade Pay Rs 10,000/- and other allowances as admissible.

2. Associate Professor: Pay Band: Rs 37,400- 67,000/- +Academic Grade Pay Rs 9,000/- and other allowances as admissible.

3. Assistant Professor: Pay Band: Rs 15,600-39,100/- +Academic Grade Pay Rs 6,000/- and other allowances as admissible.

4. Assistant Professor (Purely on contract Basis): Consolidated Pay: Rs 21,600/- plus other allowances as admissible (per month)

Application Fee: Application is to be paid in the form of Bank Draft in favor of"Vidyasagar University" payable at Midnapore Rs. 800/- for Sl. No. 01 and Sl. No. 02, Rs .600/- for Sl. No. 03 and Sl. No. 04.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in written exam /interview. No Candidates will be paid any traveling allowance or dearness allowance.
