Arjun Tendulkar failed in maiden innings for India U-19, dismissed for duck

Arjun Tendulkar, son of former Indian cricketer and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, was failed in his maiden match for India U-19. He didn’t open his account as he was dismissed on a duck. All-rounder Arjun Tendulkar was caught by Pasindu Sooriyabandara off PWS Dulshan.

The left-arm pacer Arjun had earlier grabbed one wicket during the first innings on the last delivery of his second over when he stranded Kamil Mishra in front of the stumps.

 Worth mention here it was the first and the only wicket for Arjun during the first innings. The duo of Harsh Tyagi and Ayush Badoni shone the team as both the players grabbed four wickets each. The Ayush Badoni scored a remarkable ton.

He is at present batting on a score of 178* and is closing in on a much anticipated double century. India U-19 is leading by a margin of 333 runs after the end of 132 overs.

Sri Lanka U-19 who bat first scored 244 runs before being all out. The Junior India colts continued grand run in the game and put up best efforts with the bat as well.

The Anuj Rawat-led U-19 Indian team will expect to post a lead of around 400 runs
