NEW DELHI: The Saffron Party BJP will mark the first anniversary of demonetization(Noteban) on November 8 as 'anti-black money day', finance minister Arun Jaitley asserted on Wednesday as he took on the opposition for its condemnation of the government move to crumb high-valued notes last year.

Elder party leaders will fan out across the country to notify the public about the profits of demonetization as part of the preparation to view November 8 as 'anti-black money day'.

Jaitley criticized the Congress for its antagonism to demonetization and said it did not take any step to restrain the hazard of black money when it was in power. "The Congress had sufficient opportunity to be in power. I can't think of a single noteworthy step they ever took against black money. They had prepared to accept to India living with a shadow economy.

"It is clear that it would never be on the political agenda of their leadership. I can understand their anxiety. If there is an ideological polarization over a dispute on November 8 on the concern of pro-excess cash economy and anti-black money, then the BJP will positively get it forward,"  Arun Jaitley quoted.

The FM added that those who had ruined the Indian Economy now they were delivering sermons.
