On Friday, Union finance minister Arun Jaitley stated that the recent appeal by Congress to challenge Supreme Court Chief Justice Dipak Misra is being used as a “political tool”. He gave this statement with reference to intimidate hearing by judges on controversial matters.
The SC judge has reportedly exposed the conspiracy hatched by the opposition party. The conspiracy was made to generate falsehood as propaganda in the public and political space. He wrote this statement

Both the parties, BJP and the Congress, are involved in verbal allegations and counter-allegations in this case. Since yesterday following SC's release of a plea seeking probe in the death of special CBI judge BH Loya.
On Thursday, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra alleged that the "invisible hand" behind these petitions was of Rahul Gandhi. The Congress was quick to hit back on the case, with senior leader Randeep Surjewala slamming the allegations against the Gandhi scion as a "malicious attempt" which showed the ruling party's "jitteriness".
"The BJP's attempt to misinterpret the Supreme Court judgment reflects their jitteriness and frustration. We reject and condemn the malicious attempts of the BJP to misinterpret the judgment for finger pointing," Surjewala said at a press briefing.
Almost 64 Parliamentarians belonging to seven political parties today signed the impeachment notice for proceedings against CJI Misra. Opposition parties include MPs from the Cong, the NCP, CPM, the CPI, the SP, the BSP and the Muslim League.
"Since CJI Dipak Mishra come, questions have been raised about his conduct. It showed in the January 12 press conference of four judges of Supreme Court. One concern of the four judges
was a memorandum of the procedure was being unsettled," said Congress leader Sibal after the parties submitted the impeachment notice to Naidu in the press meet in which Sibal was referring to an unusual press conference called on 12 January by four most senior SC judges.
