Hyderabad: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday cornered BJP and Congress for polarization of votes through Muslim Community.
The most unfortunate thing that has come out of recent controversy of Muslims not being part of this party or that party, statements of Cong president Rahul Gandhi & PM Modi, what is the message you're sending to Muslims, that usage of Muslim word will lead to polarization, it's a dirty word?: Owaisi raised concern on the Muslim polarization.
He further took on PM Modi and Minister of Minority Affairs Naqvi saying that latter lied that the percentage of Muslim representation increased. He dared to Naquvi that he has exposed these wrongful claims of the government.
He further said that Prime Minister claimed he wants to give quran in one hand & computer in other,but what has PM Modi done in past 4 yrs, asked Owaisi.
Owaisi also linked religion to Government recruitment of Muslims saying that in last 4 yrs, whether Railways, Paramilitary Forces, how many recruitments of minorities took place? He asked BJP led Govt.
He also said that in PM's 15 point programme, it's said in point 10 that recruitment to state¢ral services or police, govt will be advised to give special consideration to minorities.
