Former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee breathed his last at the age of 94 in Delhi's AIIMS hospital on Thursday. His body was first kept in the house for his observations. After this, the people of the BJP at the headquarters made the last glimpse of their beloved leader. After this, the final farewell was given to the memory place with full state honours. Daughter Namita and her granddaughter Niharika were crying while everyone's eyes were wet. 

After all the rituals, ashes of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be taken to Prem Ashram and Haridwar to immerse in holy rivers. To collect the ashes, daughter Namita and granddaughter Niharika have reached the memory place. His ashes will also reach Lucknow airport. Some of the mortal remains will be kept in BJP office so that people can pay homage. State President of BJP Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey had said that on August 23 in Lucknow, ash will be immersed in Gomti. 

After the death of Atal, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had announced to immerse bones in all major rivers of the state. In the same link, there is a schedule for immersing the ashes in the rivers. He informed that on 20th August at 10 o'clock in the morning, the ashes will be sent from the BJP office to 18 places in the state. In this way, the ashes of Bharat Ratna winner Atal Ji will be immersed in all the 163 rivers of 75 districts.
