The German auto major, Audi, has expanded its vehicles in India and launched the new Car Range Audi A5. While launching the Audi A5, it has been introduced in three variants. This Includes A5 Sportback, S5 Sportback, and A5 Cabriole. The starting ex-showroom price of the Audi A5 range in India has been started from Rs 54.02 lakhs to Rs 70.60 lakhs. In these variants of the Audi A5, the 2-liter TDI diesel engine has been given in both A5 models, as well as the Audi has been given 3-liter TFSI petrol engine in the S5 Sportback.

Talking about the specifications of the new car Range Audi A5, launched by the automobile manufacturer Audi, the A5 Sportback and Cabriolet have a 2-liter TDI diesel engine. This engine is capable of generating 188 bhp power and 400 Nm torque. The same has 7-speed Tiptronic gearbox in it.

The company is looking to increase its petrol engine offerings to 50% by 2020 from the current 30%, as part of a larger strategy shift to alternative and less-polluting fuels, according to Rahil Ansari, head, Audi India.
