BCCI's acting secretary Amitabh Chaudhary is willing to stay in England to watch India-England T20 matches after the ICC meeting in Ireland, but the administrators' committee made it clear to him that the BCCI would not be incurring the expenditure on his stay in England. The ICC meeting will be held in Dublin from Ireland from June 28 to July 2.

Amitabh Chaudhary sent an email to the administrators' committee informing that after this meeting they are planning to stay in England to watch the first two T20 matches between India and England. In response, COA wrote, "You have not asked for permission from the committee to go abroad for this meeting, despite this you are allowed." You spend your expenses as much as the ICC will pick.

The COA feels that seeing your Indo-England T20 series matches will not benefit the Board. So if he goes to England after the meeting and you want to see these matches then the BCCI will not be able to spend it. Usually, the board provides daily allowance during its joining in such a meeting in the country or abroad to its administrators.

According to the protocol in the meeting of the ICC Executive Board, Chaudhury will be involved, while CEO Rahul Johari represented the BCCI in the ICC Chief Executive meeting. Johari also sent an email to the COA to inform about his plan that he would be in the meeting and then stay in England for the India-England T20 match till July 8 to which they did not approve.
