The BJP has denied the statement made by BJP President Amit Shah that  'Ram temple will be started in Ayodhya before the Lok Sabha election of 2019'. According to the ANI, BJP was told that there was no such thing between Amit Shah and BJP leaders in the party's Telangana unit office in Hyderabad, but this issue was not even in the agenda. Significantly, the Ayodhya temple-mosque dispute case is being heard in the Supreme Court and in such a situation, it was decided that a statement by the ruling party chief was a ruckus.

The special thing is that this statement was printed in the media in reference to the BJP's National Executive member P. Shekharji, who was addressing the media after the meeting of Shah and other leaders. So far, BJP leaders have kept away from giving statements on this issue. They quote the question on this as being considered in the court.

On the other hand, during the debate in the Supreme Court in this matter, advocate Rajiv Dhawan, appearing for the petitioner, said that the mosque had been dropped by 'Hindu Taliban'. With this, he questioned the Shia Waqf Board and said that it was the Sunni Mosque in 1946.
