Finally this has proved that PM Modi led BJP party is not agreeing with supreme court’s verdict as highlighting that there are many RSS and BJP workers among the thousands who arrested in the ongoing protests at Sabarimala Temple in Kerala, BJP chief Amit Shah lauded on Saturday that his party is 'standing like a rock' with devotees. Amit Shah at the inauguration of new BJP district office in Kannur, Kerala addressed.

Several devotees have encircled the olden place of pilgrimage to prevent entry of women of menstruating age here. Regardless Supreme Court order Devotees not ready to give the way for entry of women aged between 10 and 50 in hilly shrine.

"Today in Kerala, there is a struggle going on between religious beliefs and the state government's cruelty," said Shah at an event in Kannur. "More than 2,000 activists and workers from BJP, RSS and other organisations have been arrested. Left government be warned, BJP is standing like a rock with devotees."

However protestors have claimed they are nonviolent but the BJP party chief hinted that there are people who are trying to give the protests here a different image. "In the name of court verdict, those who want to incite violence, let me tell you that there are many temples which run on different rules and norms," BJP chief lauded.

Shah also took a dig at the state government as the ruling CPI-M had said that it has done everything to ensure police protection which is provided to all devotees. It added that it is BJP that is trying to gain political mileage by inciting violence.

Amit Shah asserted, “The Kerala government with their powers tried to remove the real devotees from inside the Sabarimala temple who fought for their right. The state government should not try to hurt the feelings of the devotees of Lord Ayyappa”.

According to the information revered Hindu temple is set to open again on November 17.
