On Saturday, it was Pakistan cricket team, who visited the Wagah border at the conclusion of their training camp on to witness the flag-lowering ceremony at the historic venue. Pakistan’s medium pacer Hassan Ali, who is known for being a crazy entertainer during his stay, couldn’t resist as he showed off his infamous wicket-celebrating gesture which look so funny. The 24-year-old, Pakistan’s medium fast bowler carried out his unique moves, which explains why he has been nicknamed the Generator.

Pakistani medium pacer, Hasan Ali entered the flag-lowering ceremony from the Green side and made his signature wicket-taking gesture towards the Border Security Force (BSF) and Indian audience. The BSF has taken strong note of a civilian from Pakistan “interfering” in the ceremony on the Pakistani side. As per protocol, the ceremony is to be conducted only by the BSF on the Indian side and Rangers on the Pakistani side.

Goel added, “Anyone can make any aggressive gesture in the viewers’ gallery on both sides but no public person can interfere in the parade. Before or after the parade, the people are free to do such things, but not in the middle of the parade,” Goel added. The Pakistan cricket team made the trip to get a boost ahead of their departure for England. Pakistan will take on Ireland for a lone Test match on May 11 before playing a two-Test series against England on May 24 and June 1.
