Never trust webcam
It's possible that malware will be installed on your computer or laptop, which has control of your system's webcam. In this case, you feel that the webcam is closed but it is recording all your activities. A US beauty queen was allegedly blackmailed by a hacker. Hacker had taken control of the camera of his laptop and had taken some of his nude photographs with this help.
