The feeling of becoming a mother in the world has been described as the most unique. It will be hardly a moment to be a mother, she will be happily living in that age is everything for a mother. But there is one place in the world where becoming a mother has become a curse for women. This is from Africa, where every year there are two million women in the backward areas, including Ethiopia, Malawi, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, during the pregnancy or delivery.

Social documentary photographer Polo Patron spent six months in the village of Malawi and saw the difficult life of women there. During this time, he visited public and private hospitals in the past areas and felt that how women in the absence of information and facilities were involved in death.

Polo went to the Maternity Wards of these villages and photographed. However, in the beginning, there was a lot of objection to a mail photographer visiting these wards, but when he explained the purpose of his project, the women allowed to draw photos of these moments. Polo has included in-photos in the project called "Birth is a Dream". As soon as the photos of this project were shared on social sites, it attracted the attention of many international NGOs. According to Polo, there are still unheard stories of many such women who have not been able to come out of these villages in Africa. So they want to come back to Africa and bring them out.
