Filmmaker Neeraj Pandey explained his film's title and said, "Aiyaary has been a special project with a very exciting ensemble. 'Aiyaary meaning in english', the ultimate trickery. The word 'Aiyaary' fabulously sums up what a Soldier resorts to ultimately in the face of extreme crisis. His intelligence, sharpness and wit not only bedazzles the his own troop but also earns him the respect of his enemies." The title of the film explains the term as a person who is a chameleon in character and works towards mastering in all given situation. It means master of Beharoooiya."

Bollywood Actor Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee starrer Aiyaary's first look is all set to release tomorrow on the day of Vijay Diwas. Aiyaary is based on a real-life incident that revolves around two strong-minded army officers played by Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee. Sidharth Malhotra who was last seen in the movie ‘Ittefaq’ is gearing up for his upcoming release ‘Aiyaary’. ‘Aiyaary’ is a story of two soldiers, a mentor and his disciple who turned into their biggest enemies. Post ‘Aiyaary’, Sid will be working on Vikram Batra biopic. Capt. Vikram Batra was the man who gave up his life during the Kargil war so he could save his men.

Neeraj Pandey's 'Aiyaary' starring Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee along with Rakul Preet is all set to release on Republic Day, 2018.
