Bhopal: Meet 3 new ministers Sworn in MP Cabinet

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], Feb 3 (NT): Ahead Of MP elections 2018, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reshuffled and expand his Cabinet today.Narayan Singh Kushwaha (Gwalior West), Balkrishna Patidar (Khargone) and Zalam Singh Patel (Narsinghpur) have sworn-in as new members of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's Cabinet.

Recently appointed Governor Anandi Ben Patel who was the former Gujarat CM, administered the oath taking ceremony of the new ministers.

The Cabinet expansion is aimed at balancing caste equation and satiates community voters, ahead of Assembly elections that are scheduled to take place later this year.

There are also reports that a few ministers are likely to be dropped on the basis of their performance.

After the expansion, there is a possibility of a comprehensive reshuffle in the departments of the Ministers.

In his address to Press meet CM, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said,”It is a matter of happiness, will make the cabinet more balanced which will lead to better work & results. One expansion has taken place, another small one will also be done, “said MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on cabinet expansion.
