Bihar Governor Ramnath Kovind declared as the National Democratic Alliance candidate for Presidential polls

There was the lot of confusion to whom the  National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will declare about as its Candidate for the upcoming Presidential polls but today they finally announced the name.

Ramnath Kovind, the BiharGovernor has been announced as the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate for the upcoming Presidential polls. This news has been declared through a press briefing by BJP national president Amit Shah.

Shah also informed that the BJP leaders have talked to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who told them that they would hold discussions over the Presidential nominee and proceed further.

For the  President of India, the election is scheduled to take place on July 17 as the President Pranab Mukherjee will demit the office on July 25.
