One of the best villains in the history of Bollywood, with an equal amount of appreciation received, was none other than Amrish Puri. The actor was a legendary one. He was perfect for any role, his voice modulation with ease to fix himself made his a really distinguished actor. His negative roles were also appreciated.
The late actor has worked in more than 400 films and even after his demise is going to stay in our hearts forever. He will always be idealised because of his personality, that I don’t think anyone in the Bollywood will ever have.

On his  birth anniversary,we put before you some of the  most iconic roles of Amrish Puri that had made him come on the top lists of the negative roles.

 1. Mogambo ( Mr India )
What comes to your mind when I tell you 'Mogambo Khush Hua'? obviously Amrish Puri with that wicked laughter Amrish had immortalised the character of Mogambo in the memories of cine buffs forever. It was a  Boney Kapoor-Shekhar Kapur directorial.

2. Indrajit Chadha from Damini - Amrish puri made us love him, even more, when he took the character of the criminal lawyer in Rajkumar Santoshi's 'Damini' which starred Meenakshi Sheshadri, Rishi Kapoor and Sunny Deol in prominent roles. Amrish Puri took a character, who would cross his limits to win the case. His dialogue delivery is especially exceptional 

3. Thakur Durjan Singh ( Karan Arjun) - In the movie Karan Arjun which was a Rakesh Roshan directorial. The movie starred Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in lead roles. The movie wouldn’t have felt better if Amrish Puri was missing from the movie.
Amrish Puri played the character of a rich evil Thakur.  Puri's wicked expressions as Ranaji made the movie buffs his fans and some were drooling over his skills. 'Karan Arjun' was one of the blockbuster movies in Hindi cinema.
