Pankaj Advani is a most famous Indian snooker player. The prince of Pune, The prince of India and The Golden Boy are the nickname of this young player. He holds many records of his domain and made India proud at the International level. Although he has achieved success in his game still he received less recognition as compared to the players belong to other games such as cricket. On the Occasion of his birthday, we are presenting a few chapters of this World champion.

He was born on 24 July 1985 in Pune.  He has done his graduation in commerce from SBM Jain college. He made his international debut in the year 2002 in Asian Billards Championship in Bangalore. He holds many records in this game which includes the first person who won the points and time formats both in the same year. In 2014 he won the Grand Double for the third time in the UK which is also a record. He is eighteen-time world champion in billiards as well as snooker.

He received many awards and rewards. He achieved many prestigious awards including Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna in 2006, Padmashree in 2009 and Padmabhushan in 2018. He gives credit of his success to his Coach Arvind Savur and his Elder brother Dr Shree Advani.
