The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) CEO Rahul Johri in West Indies is likely to meet the Virat Kohli for his feedback on the appointment of the new head coach.

Johri is expected to have a detailed discussion with skipper Kohli on the appointment of the coach and other support staff, as per the sources news.

After the Anil Kumble resignation from the post of coach the seat is lying vacant. Ravi Shastri, Venkatesh Prasad, Virender Sehwag, Tom Moody, Richard Pybus and Dodda Ganesh along with Lalchand Rajput have applied for the post of India head coach.

The BCCI has already stated that Team India will get its new head coach before their tour to Sri Lanka beginning July 26.
