Boogie Nights star and Hollywood icon Burt Reynolds passes away at age of 82

One of Hollywood’s legend, the all-American Burt Reynolds passed away at the age of 82 last night. He was well known for his on-screen and off-screen magnetism. The veteran actor was a part of the cast for Quentin Tarantino’s next Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. He died of cardiopulmonary arrest after he got complained of chest pains and shortness of breath. He was the Michigan native and had played various outstanding roles in films like Smokey and the Bandit (1977), Starting Over (1979), Texas (1982), Best Friends (1982), The Man Who Loved Women (1983), Boogie Nights (1997).

He also had an on-off link ups with co-star Sally Field. Later he said Sally was the love of his life.

Field, who is now 71 year old, said in a condolence statement about her old flame's death: "There are times in your life that are so indelible, they never fade away”, as quoted by BBC.

She added, "They stay alive, even 40 years later. My years with Burt never leave my mind. He will be in my history and my heart, for as long as I live. Rest, Buddy."

Worth mention here In 1996 Reynolds filed for bankruptcy with nearly $11m in debts.

In 2014, Following debts issue he was forced to sell many prized noteworthy awards, including the Golden Globe award he bagged for his one of the famous movie Boogie Nights.
