Due to the rapidly spreading environmental pollutants, kidney health is adversely affected. This was revealed by a new study. This research has been done by researchers from the Duke University of America. It has been stated that there is a large group of non-biodegradable (non-rotational) substances used in industrial processes and consumer products, which are present everywhere in the environment.

Researchers have said that humans come in contact with corrupt soil, water, food and air through them. John Steiner of Duke University said that the kidneys are very sensitive organ. Especially when it comes to environmental toxic elements, which enter our bloodstream. Evidence presented in a report in the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology points to air pollution increases the risk of new cases of kidney disease, and quicker progression of CKD to dialysis.

This disease is starting even in 20 to 30-year-old youths which begins with pain in the waist-hips. Researchers looked at 74 studies and tested them. Then told about the many adverse effects associated with the contact of non-biodegradable resources or waste. In these effects, the kidneys do not work properly, disturbances in the tubes near the kidneys and the deteriorating metabolic pathways associated with kidney disease take place in the younger age. This study was published in the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology (CJASN).
