According to the Economic Survey 2018, which was tabled on the first Budget session, India is projected to grow between 7-7.5 percent in the 2018-19 (April-March) with exports and private investment poised for a rebound.

The Budget is likely to be devotedly observed around the world to showcase what FM Jaitley does to heighten growth in Asia's third-largest economy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already made it clear that the Budget 2018 won't gratify to populist demands.
