Davos (Switzerland) [India], Jan. 23 (NT): Hours later than Shiv Sena declared to fight the 2019 general elections alone; Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis downplayed the salvos fired by his party's supporter.

Speaking to ANI and DD news, CM Fadnavis, who is in Davos to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) summit, said, "They (Shiv Sena) have been saying a lot of things. I don't want to comment on them. As of now, we are in government. The BJP and Shiv Sena will complete its full term and whatever it takes, I am sure we will get the next term as well."

The hum and haw relationship between Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena was further over-sensitive earlier in the day following the Sena ruler Uddhav Thackeray declared that his party would contest the next Maharashtra Assembly and Lok Sabha Polls without an association with the BJP.

"We will fight 2019 assembly and Lok Sabha elections alone," stated Thackeray while  talking to the national executive meeting of Shiv Sena in Mumbai.

The two parties share a bitter relationship, ever since the BJP has come to power in Maharashtra, the stronghold of Shiv Sena.

following his visit to Davos for WEF summit CM Fadnavis met with Satya Nadela,  the CEO of Microsoft  as his twitor handle told about his meet,

“Good to meet you once again @satyanadella !Thank you for the big support & moving forward to create more digital villages like Harisal inMelghat! And thanks for appreciating Maharashtra’s policy on public cloud computing data centres & plans for expanding @Microsoft based on it!,” CM tweeted
