The lighting in different parts of the state took away the lives of nine people. The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a compensation of Rs. four lakhs each to the families of the nine deceased.
On the deaths, Adityanath expressed his condolences and directed the District Administration to distribute the compensation amount to the families of the victims.
In Mirzapur's Dikshitpur village due to lightning, nine people lost their lives.
