CPI (M) Activist Stabbed to Death Allegedly by BJP Workers in Kerala

Kerala, Aug 6(NT): CPI (M) worker was stabbed to death at Manjeswa in Kasaragod district allegedly by BJP workers, last night.

A Communist Party of India (Marxist) activist Aboobacker Sidique, was attacked by a group of bike-born gang near his house at around 11 PM by BJP workers as Police said. The key accused in the case has been recognized as Aslam, who is a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker, According to the reports of CNN News18.

The incident occurred on Sunday night when the victim was on the way to his home. Sidique was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. He suffered serious stab injuries and afterwards, he succumbed to death in the hospital. CPI (M) MLA Samseer made the allegations and said that the RSS was behind the attack.

This is not the first time when such case of RSS-CPI (M) contention being witnessed with the parties accusing each other of these kinds of incidents.

 Worth mention here a local CPI(M) leader was stabbed to death in New Mahe in Kunnur in June 2018. Several years has observed that the RSS-saffron rivalry has claimed the lives of more than 200 workers belonging to both outfits.

Besides this Last November, V Anandan, a worker of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) who was out on bail for murdering a CPI (M) worker, was killed in Nenmini.
